Copper nanowires (Cu NWs) and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) have emerged as various applications acting as promising conductive materials, due to their low cost, excellent conductivity and high flexibility. In this work, we designed and synthesized the RGO−oriented Cu NW composites using a straightforward solvothermal method. The RGO nanosheets connecting the Cu NWs not only provided conductive pathways for electron transfer but also acted as a protective layer of oxidation on contact points. As a result, the composite film exhibits a low sheet resistance (0.808 Ω·sq-1) and high flexibility (1000th bending) without obvious change on 30 days. As a lightweight wearable conductor, the Cu NW-RGO composites filtered on polyester cloth shows the excellent electrical conductivity and high durability. We believe that the Cu NW-RGO composites have a good potential for next generation electronics. |
