제목 Synthesis and characterization of poly(p-phenylenevinylene)s with 3',3'-diheptyl-3,4-propylenedioxythiophene for polymeric light-emitting diodes
초록 The insertion of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) doped with poly(styrenesulfonate) (PSS) for the hole injection transport layer of multi layer device gives dramatic improvement of the lifetime and the luminous efficiency. We synthesized a new type of light-emitting poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV) with a PEDOT derivative, 3',3'-diheptyl-3,4-propylenedioxythiophene (heptyl2-PDOT), via the Gilch polymerization and investigated their thermal, optical, electrochemical, and light-emitting properties as well as the effect of the heptyl2-PDOT on the performance of light-emitting diodes.
