제목 | Preparation, Characterization and Electrochemical Properties of Gel-Type Polymer Electrolyte Based on Chemically Cross-Linking NBR for Magnesium Rechargeable Battery |
초록 | Magnesium is more stable and less reactive towards oxygen and water in comparision with lithium which requires a high purity argon or helium atmosphere. Then it can be handled safely in open air and hazards, and the study of rechargeable magnesium battery system is worthy to be pursued. If we can fabricate rechargeable battery by using magnesium, many advantages are acquired. Gel-type polymer electrolytes(GPEs) used in this study were prepared by immobilizing liquid electrolytes(1M salt/ γ-butylrolactone(γ-BL)) in polymer matrix. Two different salts, lithium perchlorate(LiClO4) and magnesium perchlorate(Mg(ClO4)2), were dissolved in γ-BL. The polymer matrix was synthesized by the chemical crosslinking of NBR with the poly(ethylene glycol)methylethermethacrylate(PEGMEM) having polar group(-CH2-CH2-O-) in side chain of monomer. The highest ionic conductivity was 3.3×10-2Scm-1 for Mg2+-GPE with 200wt% liquid electrolyte contents at 20℃. The interaction between ionic species and polymer natrix in GPE was investigated by using fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). Also, cyclic voltammogram of Mg2+-GPE confrimed the electrochemical property of divalent cation with two electron-transfer reactions. |
