Development of polymer-supported catalyst for selective triacetylglycerin production |
초록 |
Glycerol is one of the raw materials from triglyceride trans-esterification process during bio-diesel production and it can be obtained abundantly as a main byproduct. And there is a main concern for chemical conversion of glycerol into useful chemicals to improve economic feasibility of biodiesel industry. Thus, acetins (mono-, di-, and tri-esters of glycerol) are good solution because they can be used as fuel additives, and have great value in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. In particular, triacein is more desirable than other two acetins. Therefore, it is important to improve reaction selectivity and to develop triacetin selective processes. In this work, we developed gadolinium containing ionic liquid immobilized solid-support, which showed higher activity and selectivity for triacetin production. |
