Selectivity and permeability are the most important characteristics of gas separation membranes. However, the performance does not increase proportionally with selectivity due to the feed-to-permeate pressure ratio. As higher selectivity usually sacrifice permeability, selectivity higher than certain range has little effect on separation. Herein, we report the correlation between pressure ratio and gas separation performance (CO2/N2) with graphene oxide (GO) composite membrane in humidified condition. These results could give better insight into the future researches on membranes targeting at post-combustion process where pressure ratio and humidity condition is limited. |
