Hybrid materials of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanosheet and mesoporous silica were prepared by charge-density matching strategy. To coat mesoporous silica(mSiO2) on the rGO nanosheet, cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and rGO were mixed to obtain the fine dispersion of rGO, coated by CTAB in aqueous solution. Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) was then added to the dispersion to obtain the hybrid materials of the rGO nanosheet coated with mSiO2. CTAB was removed by calcination at 200℃ to form from rGO/mSiO2. The structures of rGO/mSiO2 was identified by various characterization techniques such as TEM, SEM and X-ray diffraction. |
