Fully Gravure Printed SWCNT-TFTs Based Ring Oscillators for Generating Stable and Reliable Clock Signals for n-bit Devices |

As all-printed digital circuits are in highly demanded to produce active devices, accurate and synchronized clock signals using printed thin film transistors (TFTs) should be first provided. However, it is difficult to fully print the ring oscillators with a reliable and stable clock signals due to the inconsistency of printed TFTs on plastic foils due to unstable printed semiconducting layers. To resolve this problem, the robust network structure of single walled carbon nanotube (SWNTn) has been employed as semiconducting layers and fully printed by using gravure on plastic foils. In this work, the role of gravure printed SWNTn in printed TFTs are analyzed and consequently characterize the stability and reliability of generated clock signals from gravure printed ring oscillators with 3 to 17 stages |
