Porous Poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) Microsphere loaded Demineralized Bone Matrix Particles for Bone Tissue Engineering |
초록 |
Porous, poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)/demineralized bone matrix particle(DBMp) composite microspheres(DBMp/PLGA MS) are useful for directly filling tissues as well as for delivering cells and bioactive moleculates in tissue engineering. DBM is widely used as a bone graft substitute in orthopaedics and dentistry. One of the limitations to the tissue regeneration using DBMp is the maintenance within the defect site. Any migration of particles from the area could compromise the graft success because of inadequate regeneration of the defect and potential ectopic bone formation. To address this problem, DBMp materials have been developed that use a carrier to keep the particles together at the graft site. The goal of this study is to fabricate porous DBMp/PLGA MS for bone regeneration. |
