The flexible energy storage devices have been attracted great attention with the increasing demand for flexible electronics such as wearable devices and motion detectors. However, most researches on energy storage devices have been restricted to device design, current collector, or electrolyte; a limited number of studies about intrinsic flexibility of electrodes have been researched. Typically, electrochemical performance trades off the mechanical performance of the flexible devices. Thus, it is an important issue that both performances are secured simultaneously. In this work, we demonstrated an effective method to fabricate free-standing and highly flexible electrodes while maintaining the electrochemical performance. Furthermore, a flexible all solid-state full cell device was successfully demonstrated by using the flexible electrode and the solid polymer electrolyte. The results provide a new strategy to develop high-performance flexible all-solid-state energy storage devices. |
