We report herein the synthesis and characterization of partially ladder-type conjugated polymer based on fused phenylene-alkylated bithiophene. The polymer was synthesized via homocoupling of the thiophene unit, and its structure was verified by NMR, FT-IR spectra and elemental analysis. The electronic properties studied by UV-Visible and emission spectra, together with cyclic voltametry. Both n-type and p-type polymers with good solubility, rigid structure, high thermal and oxidative stability were obtained. Application of these materials for OFET is under investigation. |
