Bedsores, more properly known as pressure ulcers or decubitus ulcers, are lesions caused by many factors, such as pressure, humidity, temperature, to any part of our body. Recently, vacuum assisted closure(VAC) is used for heeling the bedsores. VAC suction can collect the exudate of the bedsores which is good for promoting the formation of granulation tissue. Each mouse received bedsore at the dorsal area by applying a folding skin. The bedsore were dressed with Cyclodextrin/silk fibroin zero gel. The mice were sacrificed at 0, 1, 2, 4, 7 and 10 days after inducing the pressure sore. Treatment of pressure ulcers was observed with the naked eye. And then the infiltration of inflammatory cells confirmed through the H.E staining. When comparing the effect of Cyclodextrin/silk fibroin zero gel and control group, zero gel group demonstrated significantly higher reduction pressure sore size on 4, 7, 10 days after application. |
