In this study, polymeric ionic liquids (PILs) were synthesized for organic solvent soluble and electrostatic discharge protective material. The monomer was synthesized by using 2-bromopropane and 2-bromo-2-methylpropane with vinyl imidazolium halides. After the products polymerized, these new PILs were obtained by a simple anion exchange reaction facilitated by the phase separation of the resulting products. Formation of new products was analyzed by FT-IR and NMR. Also, the products were identified solubility for various organic solvents. As a result, the solubility range of the new PIL becomes very broad with changing counter ion for Li ion, including non-polar organic solvents. |
