Bio-inpired omniphobic surface with Moire pattern |

Many bio-inspried superhydrophobic surfaces were studied and bio-imitation surface are mimicked by advancing lithographic techniques. Natural hydrophobic surfaces such as ltus leaf and springtail also have omniphobicity that even repels the extremely low surface tension liquids such as perfect wetting liquids. Springtail, a arthropod group has largely attract researchers attention because of its cuticles that even repel the extremely low surface tension liquids and organic materials. Regarding hexagonal array of overhanging structure that is consist of springtail cuticle. Many researchers fabricated such the bio-mimic superhydrophobic surface. We fabricated the high aspect ratio complex Moire superlattice structure by Moire fringe. We observed that the variation of hexagonal ridge density of Moire superlattice affects the contact angle of water droplets. We study about the effect of variation hexagonal ridge at the surface hydrophobicity. |
