제목 Targeted photodynamic therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma using pentacyclic triterpenoid derivative
초록  There are various liver cancer types such as hepatocellular cancer (HCC), cholangiocarcinoma, liver angiosarcoma, etc. Among them, HCC is the most major liver cancer type (>70%). In this way, researchers are contemplating different approaches to treat HCC.  
 Therefore, we suggest that targeted cancer therapy using photosensitizer (PS). It would be one of the good solutions to problems that we mentioned. We chose HCC targeting moiety which is pentacyclic triterpenoid derivative and conjugate photosensitizer (PS) for photodynamic therapy (PDT).
 In our experiment, we confirmed targeted-PS molecules are low toxicity and high therapeutic effect through the MTT assay and tumor growth inhibition test. And we observed phototoxicity using Annexin V and PI staining after laser irradiation. From these results, In vitro photodynamic treatment efficacy was good.  
 Consequently, our molecules can be used effectively in various cancer treatment.
