Influence of surface free energy of carbon black on mechanical Properties of carbon black/rubber Composites |
초록 |
In this work, the different carbon blacks were added to natural rubber. The influence of the type of carbon blacks in the carbon black/natural rubber composites on the mechanical properties were investigated. Adsorption and surface properties of carbon black were examined using BET isotherms and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Tensile strength and tearing energy (GIIIC) of carbon black/NR composites were measured. As a result, it was found that mechanical properties of carbon black/NR composites were improved by the increase of London dispersive component of surface free energy of the carbon blacks. |
