제목 | Study on the mechanical properties and morphology of dynamic vulcanized virgin compound and polypropylene blends with compatibilizers |
초록 | The main objective of this research is to blend waste tire with olefins using dynamic vulcanization process. The waste tire is a complex composite; blending it will different material is difficult. Most of the waste tire is composed of natural rubber (NR) and SBR or NR alone. To understand the mechanism of dynamic vulcanization process of rubber and polyolefin and the effect of compatibilizer on the compound, blending of virgin compound rubber with polyolefin was first tired before it was applied to waste material. Reactive blending in the presence of compatibilizers such as styrene-ethylene-buthylene-styrene (SEBS) and maleic anhydride graft SEBS (SEBS-MA) was used in this study to improve the compatibility of the blends. This reactive blending was also used as the basis of defining the mechanism involved in the dynamic vulcanization process. The mechanical properties, dynamic mechanical properties, and morphology were determined to evaluate the dynamic vulcanization effect on the blends. The mechanical properties of polar blend with SEBS of maleic anhydride graft copolymer and PP with maleic anhydride graft olefin resin were gradually increased and the dynamic mechanical tests were also changed in all the composite materials. without compatibilizer with compatibilizer(SEBS) with compatibilizer(SEBS-g-MA) |
