제목 Thermoplastic Elastomers and Rubber-Toughened Plastics blend using Twin Screw Extruder from Recycled Rubber and Plastics
초록 Compounds of powder rubber based on waste tire powder/PP and PE were produces by using the twin-screw extruder equipped with well-designed screw configuration. Polypropylene blends containing a dispersed phase of rubber powder obtained from waste tire(vulcanized rubber blend of NR and SBR) were studied. We investigation ultrasonically devulcanized waste tire powder was mixed with polypropylene and polyethylene. The morphology and mechanical properties and dynamic vulcanizate of the blends of PP and PE with ultrasonically devulcanized waste tire powder were investigated. The influences of a compatibilizer on the mechanical properties of these blends were investigated. Significant development of mechanical properties was attained by using from 5 to 10 phr of styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) and maleic anhydride-grafted styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS-g-MA) as a compatibilizer for both compounds filled with waste tire powder. The purpose of this study is to develop a high-value thermoplastic elastomer from waste tire.
