The printing process is currently the most important theme in OLED solution processes. Among various types of printing, nozzle printing does not require complicated experimental procedures. Mixed red and yellow light emitting layers required for the implementation of white OLED have been fabricated by nozzle printing and their performances have been compared with spin-coating devices. We fabiracated OLED device by nozzle printing with the following structure, [ITO/PEDOT:PSS/PVK:Ir(BT)2acac:Ir(piq)2acac/TPBi/LiF/Al]. By varying nozzle printing conditions, such as solvent composition, printing pitch, printing pressure, and etc., similar device performance could be obtained compared with spin-coating. The maximum current efficiency of spin coating device was 5.61 cd/A, while the nozzle printing device was 5.26 cd/A. The conditions and performance will be described later in the presentation. |
