Poly(lactide-co-glycolide)(PLGA) particle entrapping curcumin as hydrophobic model drug were prepared by the single emulsionevaporation method and fabricated three different types of particle : nanoparticle, microparticle, halfshell. Nanoparticle was prepared by sonicator and microparticle was manufactured by homogernizer. Half-shell was fabricated by adding poloxamer(F-127) to nanoparticle material. The morphology of the particles was confirmed using field-emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM), and in-vitro test were performed by High-perfomance-liquid-chromatography (HPLC). To evaluate in vivo test, Sprague-Dawley rats(SD rat) were used. PLGA particles were administrated oral. Samples were collected in serial time of hours from each rat and were analyzed with HPLC. In result, nanoparticle was faster release than microparticle. Different release profiles were observed by the morphology of particles. |
