제목 The surface morphology and structural properties of the ZnO grown on polyethersulfone (PS) substrate depending on the precursor concentration and seed layer
초록 Zinc oxide (ZnO) material is one of wurtzite structure family. It has the four unique properties that are the direct bang gap energy (3.37eV), the large exciton binding energy (60meV), the piezoelectric, and the environment friendly. From these properties, the ZnO is reported as a potential material for application of light-emitting diode (LED), laser diode (LD), gas sensor and electronic fields, at present.  
In this experiment, the surface morphology and structure characteristics of the ZnO grown on the flexible substrate, polyethersulfone (PS), by hydrothermal synthesis were investigated. We studied the effects of precursor concentration and seed layer on the ZnO growth. For the ZnO growth, the zinc nitrate hexahydrate (Zn(NO3)2∙6H2O) and hexamethylenetetramine (C6H12N4) were employed for precursors.
The surface morphology and structural properties of the ZnO were measured by the field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and X-ray diffraction, respectively.
