In this work, we prepared the N-doped microporous carbons as a function of N content to enhance the CO2 adsorption capacity. The synthesized materials were characterized by XRD. The textural properties were investigated using N2/77 K adsorption/desorption isotherms. The carbon dioxide capture performance was evaluated by volumetric adsorption apparatus at 298 K and 1 bar. From the results, the increase in carbon dioxide adsorption capacity was closely related to rise in the micropore volume. In addition, it was found that the nitrogen-function groups on the carbon surfaces had contributed to enhance the carbon dioxide adsorption capacity. |
