Fabrication of Au Nanopatterns by Combination of Block Copolymer Self-Sssembly and Nanoimprint Lithography |

Self-assembly allows new technique to control the size and properties of various materials by using block copolymer as a template. And the use of nanoimprint lithography as a tool for locally controlling and determining the precise positioning is attractive. In the present work we synthesize gold nanoparticles and demonstrate the control of the morphology of Au nanoparticles into preferred PS-b-P2VP block copolymer domain by utilizing self-assembly of block copolymer. Moreover, the nanoimprint lithography and self-assembly of PS-P2VP diblock copolymer are combined to fabricate decoration of large areas with periodic patterns of nano-objects. |
