제목 Photocatalytic Degradation of Methylene Blue by using Metal Incorporated Mesoporous Silica
초록 Mesoporous Materials have been designed to exhibit unique photocatalytic activies through framework substitution of titanium species and Zirconium species . It was revealed that the photo-excited states of these catalysts played a role on the photocatalytic reaction and their photocatalytic reactivies were strongly dependent on structures of active sites, which are confined and immobilized in the restricted framework structure of the mesoporous silica. Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue in aqueous solution by UV irradiation was studied with Ti-incorporated mesoporous sillica and Zr-incorporated mesoporous silica which were prepared via microwave. Highly dispersed Ti and Zr species incorporated in the framework of mesoporous silica exhibited high photocatalytic degradation for methylene blue.
