Synthesis of monodisperse microspheres from the Laplace pressure induced droplets in micromolds |
초록 |
Here, we propose a novel method of synthesizing spherical monodisperse microspheres through surface-tension-induced flow. Simple mold design using the surface tension-driven flow concept can generate spherical particles. We provide a synthetic route to produce spherical particles in micromolds for various reaction schemes: UV-polymerization, sol-gel reactions and colloidal assemblies. |
