제목 Enhanced Dissolution Rate as Ratio of Fenofibrate Solid Dispersion with PVP and/or HPMC
초록 Solid dispersion of poor water-soluble drug, fenofibrate, was prepared with poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) E5 to improve the bioavailability. The dissolution rate of solid dispersion was compared with Lipidil Supra® (green cross). In order to investigate the correlation between physicochemical properties and dissolution rate of solid dispersion, the samples were characterized by SEM, DSC and FT-IR. FT-IR was used to analyze the salt formation by interaction between fenofibrate, HPMC E5 and PVP K30. The crystallinity of fenofibrate and solid dispersion was analyzed by PXRD. HPLC was conducted to confirm the dissolution rate of solid dispersion. Thus, the solid dispersion using the spray drying method with HPMC E5 and PVP K30 will have an affect for the bioavailability.
