Fabrication of Three-dimensional Scaffolds Using Solid Freeform Fabrication for Biomedical Application |
초록 |
A fabrication of three-dimensional (3D) scaffold for biomedical application is very important and so many fabrication methods have been developed. In this study, we have prepared tubular scaffolds by solid freeform fabrication (SFF) using MPEG-b-(PCL-ran-PLLA) block copolymers. SFF can provide the 3D scaffolds with adaptation in the diameter, pore size and porosity. We confirmed that similar results were obtained by comparing the degradation of the scaffold and the decrease of the fluorescence intensity through in vivo implantation. Additionally, it provoked a less in vivo inflammatory response, indicating tissue biocompatibility. Consequently, 3D scaffolds fabricated by SFF might be very useful candidates for tissue regeneration. |
