제목 Fischer-Tropsch synthesis in a slurry-phase reactor using different start-up solvents​
초록 Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) is one of the most promising way to convert syngas (H2 + CO) obtained from natural gas, biomass and CO2 into high value-added chemicals and clean liquid fuel. The FTS is thermodynamically exothermic reaction. The liquid medium in slurry phase reactor can simply transfer heat of reaction from catalysts. At the beginning of the reaction, liquid medium is not consisting of wax products. So start-up solvent must be added into the reactor before the start. Therefore, start-up solvent hugely influences on the catalytic performance in slurry phase FTS. In this study, we conducted slurry-phase FTS in CSTR using various start-up solvents. We investigated the effect of start-up solvents in activity, and products selectivity.
