The synthesized of the antioxidant based on t-butyl phenols and evaluated the oxidation stability for biodiesel |
초록 |
Biodiesel fuels contain unsaturated fatty acid ester that can easily oxidize, especially, if UV light is present. The products formed this oxidation give rise to sediment and gum formation within the fuel that can lead to corrosion and plugging of filter, pump. While antioxidants have been used in an effort to stabilize biodiesels, there remains a need for a biodiesel composition that has improved oxidation stability. Fuel compositions are provided which comprise synergistic combinations of a biodiesel and antioxidants. it has been discovered that certain formulations of phenolic antioxidants and amine and/or acidic chelating agents are effective at stabilizing biodiesel. Our work provides antioxidant synthesized, stabilized fuel compositions and their improving the oxidative stability of biodiesel. |
