Preparation of rare earth doped TiO2@SiO2 particles and application to advertisement films for enhancing hydrophilicity |
| 초록 |
The protection films of advertisement pictures have been concerned due to decolorization by UV light and organic dust. To solve these problems, TiO2 particles modified by SiO2 coating, metal ion doping for enhancement of hydrophilicity have been applied as filler to the protective films. But, hydrophilicity should be further enhanced for practical uses. Here, we present the effect of CeO2 and/orLa2O3 doped TiO2@SiO2 on the hydrophilicity. The this film was shown to have better hydrophilicity than a pure TiO2 and TiO2@SiO2 because the dopedrare earthgives more oxygen vacancies and hydroxyl groups. |
