제목 Preparation of Poly(vinyl alcohol) Nanofibers with Hollow Structure via Co-axial Electrospinning
초록 Recently, nanofibers with hollow structure have been paid much attention due to their potential applications in many areas of technology such as microfluidics, drug delivery system ,energy storage and so on. In this work, we have attempted to create PVA nanofiber with hollow structure. We use PVA solution(skin) and PVAc solution(core). Both PVA solution and PVAc solution were electrospun simultaneously using co-axial dual needle tips. After electrospinning, prepared nanofibers were immersed in methanol to remove PVAc. Evolution of the crystalline structure and average diameter of prepared nanofibers with hollow structure were examined by x-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The nanofibers were successfully converted to PVA nanofibers with hollow structure.
