제목 The Effect of Carbon Filler Type onthe Conductivity of PPy Nanocomposite Film for CP Actuator
초록 Electroactive polymers (EAPs) are materials which can respond to an electrical stimulation. Conducting polymer (CP) which belongs to EAPs is a very promising material due to having a possibility for applying to many kinds of study fields. CP actuators are noticeable because they are easily switched by the application of small voltage and current to change size during electrochemical redox process. Especially, the research into ways of using the polypyrrole (PPy) is very active and in-depth due to its high electrical conductivity and good environmental stability under surrounding conditions. In this study, PPy nanocomposite film electrodes with various types of carbon filler such as carbon black, carbon nanofiber, and both of them were electrochemically polymerized from aqueous dispersions of pyrrole monomer containing carbon filler. Electrochemically polymerized PPy nanocomposite film conductivity was investigated by 4-point probe.
