3-(Furo[2,3-b:5,4-b’]dipyridin-3-yl)-N,N-diphenylaniline (3TPAPFP) and 4-(furo[2,3-b:5,4-b’]dipyridin-3-yl)-N,N-diphenylaniline (4TPAPFP) were synthesized as green host materials for thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Two host materials showed a singlet and triplet energy for efficient enrgy transfer from host to dopant and bipolar charge transport properties for balanced hole and electron density. Maximum quantum efficiencies of green TADF OLEDs with 3TPAPFP and 4TPAPFP were 22.1%and 6.6%, respectively. Especially, a high quantum efficiency of 21.2% was achieved in the fluorescent device using the 3TPAPFP host materials doped with green TADF dopant at a very low doping concentration of 1%. |
