제목 Kinetic studies on methane hydrate formation in presence of Kinetic inhibitor using in-situ Raman spectroscopy
초록 In an attempt to more fully understand the kinetics of gas hydrate formation, we investigated the influence of inhibitor, PVCap, on the gas hydrate formation at constant temperature and pressure with real-time Raman spectroscopy. Kinetic experiments were carried out in CH4 hydrate formation in the presence of PVCap. In order to get vital information for cage occupancy ratio and capturing kinetics of guest molecules, Raman analysis together with gas uptake measurement was carried out simultaneously. Fractional occupancies for CH4 hydrate were measured from the areas of Raman spectroscopy corresponding to the large(51262) and small(512) cavities. We present molecular level of cage occupancy as well as hydrate growth kinetic data.
