PEDOT:PSS has a good electric conductivity and low thermal conductivity which can be used as pathways between thermoelectric inorganic fillers.Bi_0.5 Sb_1.5 Te_3 (BST), formed by addition of antimony (Sb) to Bi_2 Te_3 alloy, showed high figure of merit due to low thermal conductivity originated from increased number of grain boundaries of BST alloy. In this experiment, BST-PEDOT:PSS composite suspension was obtained by 2-step synthetic process and chemical post-treatment. After the dimethyl sulfonate (DMSO) treatment, cast BST-PEDOT:PSS film showed quite high electrical conductivity of 1371 Scm^(-1) and Seebeck coefficient of 48μV. High power factor of 316〖μWm〗^(-1) K^(-2) was obtained due to the nanofibrous network controlled by synthesis process and chemical post treatment. |
