제목 The Effect of Thermo-sensitive Methylcellulose Membrane on Guided Bone Regeneration
초록 This study assessed the effect of methylcellulose hydrogel comprising xenograft for guided bone regeneration in vitro and in vivo. Methylcellulose has been widely applied in the medical field due to its high biocompatibility and good physical properties. The membrane was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). FT-IR and XRD observation revealed that the methylcellulose/xenograft was the presence of all components in the matrix and that formation of the composite was due to ionic interactions and specific bonding. Also, In vitro studies showed better cell proliferation, cell differentiation and in vivo studies showed effective bone tissue formation. These result indicate that this membrane would be a promising candidate for bone tissue engineering.
