Poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) has been widely used in the area of tissue engineering because PCL has excellent biocompatibility, physical property and slow degradation rate compared to other biodegradable polymers. In this study, a PCL/PLGA multifunctional matrix system was developed with the incorporation of drugs. The incorporation of the drugs was achieved by the co-precipitation of calcium phosphate and drugs. In order to confirm the effective bone regeneration of the prepared system, proliferation and differentiation of mouse mesenchymal stem cells (mMSC) and cartilage chondrosarcoma cells (SW1353) were characterized using cell counting kit (CCK-8) and alkaline phosphatase activity. Also, biomineralization of each cell was observed using a scanning electron microscope. |
