Polypyrrole nanowire arrays (PPy NW) were fabricated by electrochemical polymerization with p-toluenesulfonic acid (p-TSA), which can form micelles as a soft template, and as a dopant. Subsequently Prussian blue (PB) was electrochemical deposited on the PPy NW matrix. And then, glucose oxidase (GOx) was immobilized on the surface of the PPy NW/PB electrode by cross-linking with glutaraldehyde (GLU) and bovine serum albumin (BSA). The surface morphology of the PPy NW/PB/GOx electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The structural features of the PPy NW/PB/ GOx electrode were confirmed by attenuated total reflection infrared (ATR-IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Chronoamperometry (CA) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) were used to evaluate the performance of sensor towards glucose. The PPy NW provided high surface area and fast electron transfer rate, which can lead to excellent performance of glucose determination. |
