Bifunctional Chelating Agents for Molecular Imaging of 99mTc-tricarbonyl Complexes |

99mTc-Tricarbonyl precursor ([99mTc(CO)3(H2O)]+) has attracted attention to medicinal chemists because of its compactness and stability. To develop a novel bifunctional chelating agent for 99mTc-Tricarbonyl complexes, 14 ligands were attempted to label with 99mTc-Tricarbonyl precursor. Among them, 2 ligands (L1: bidentate, L2: tridentate) showed excellent complexation with the precursor at pH ~7 and 95oC for 30 min resulting in the complexes ([99mTc(CO)3L1] or [99mTc(CO)3L2]) in ≥98% yield as determined by a radio-HPLC. |
