제목 Study on the effect of surface coating and post-annealing to improve phosphor reliability
초록 We have studied the enhancement of the reliability of halide red phosphor, that is weak to moisture, through surface coatings.
As color reproducibility becomes an important issue in the display field, red phosphor has recieved many attentions.
KSF, which is a halide red phosphor, has excellent optical properties, but it is weak to moisture, so it needs to be improve its water-resistance for enhancement of reliability of LED devices.
A barrier layer was formed on the surface of the KSF phosphor through surface coating to prevent penetration of water.
For the formation of dense structures, post-annealing treatment attempted.
As a result, it was confirmed that the reliability of the phosphor and LED PKG was improved.
