제목 Silver nanowires synthesized in tetrabutylammonium salts as a soft template through polyol method
초록 Thin and long silver nanowires (Ag NWs) were successfully synthesized using the polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) assisted polyol method in the presence of ionic liquids (ILs), tetrabutylammonium chloride and tetrabutylammonium bromide, which served as soft template salts. Pentagonal structures twinned along the [111] plane are subsequently produced, and the Ag NW dimensions, particularly the diameters, can be controlled by the composition of the ILs. Ag could be grown into thin nanowires with diameter of 25nm and long lengths of approximately 35 μm. Additionally, the characteristics SPR of Ag NWs was observed at 369 nm in the absorbance spectra, which is evidence of the formation of NWs.
