제목 Improved Cycling Performance of Silicon-Graphite Battery Anode by the SEI Stabilization
초록 Silicon (Si)-carbon composite are promising anode materials for high-energy density Li-ion batteries because of higher specific capacity than graphite only. However, they suffer from limited cycle life caused by large volume change of Si during cycling and the instability of solid electrolyte interphase (SEI). To overcome those problems, the uses of low fraction of Si and/or the addition of different metallic element for accommodating the volume change, and functional electrolyte additives for stabilizing the SEI have been developed. In this presentation, we report the control of anode-electrolyte interfacial reactions and the SEI stability of metal-added Si-graphite anode using functional electrolyte additives, and the SEI-performance relationship.
