제목 Enhancement of Thermal Properties of LIBS(Lithium Ion Battery Separator) with Surface Coating
초록 Lithium Ion Battery(LIB) is actually applied for a wide range of portable electronic devices nowadays due to its higher energy density than others; for example, mobile phones, laptop computers, digital cameras, and others. The separator, one of these elements, plays an important role in prevent temperature of the battery from increasing. In addition, it provides lithium ion with path between two electrodes. Polyethylene(PE) is generally made use of Lithium Ion Battery Separator(LIBS). However, it has problems because of its low thermal properties. In this study, to enhance its thermal properties, surface of LIBS is coated with polymer materials derived from TEGDMA(Triethylene glycol dimethacrylate) and DEGDMA(Diethylene glycol dimethacrylate) respectively. After coating, unchangeability of its morphology and enhancement of its thermal properties is observed by FE-SEM(Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope) and TMA(Thermomechanical Analysis) test respectively.
