High external quantum efficiency (EQE) green thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) organic emitting diodes were developed using phosphine oxide type host material, 2,7-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)-9phenyl-9H-carbazole(PPO27). The PPO27 host harvested both singlet and triplet excitons of TADF emitter and could improve the device performances of TADF organic light-emitting diodes. High EQE were achieved by good charge balance and energy transfer from PPO27 to (4s,6s)-2,4,5,6-tetra(9H-carbazole-9-yl) isophthalonitrile TADF dopant. The device showed a maximum EQE of 24.2% and maximum power efficiency of 52.0% |
