제목 Refractive indices and adhesion properties and acrylate-based copolymer resin for prism sheet application in LCD back light unit
초록 In LCD back light unit, the acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) prism sheet is an important part which has high luminance rate and ideal viewing angle. In this study, a series of acrylate-based copolymers were synthesized by free radical copolymerization procedure and their physicochemical properties were characterized. The resin mixture containing acrylic PSAs, epoxy acrylate oligomer and other additive were prepared and their properties were investigated depending on the molecular weight, composition, and functionality. The adhesive properties and reflex index of the prism sheet prepared by UV curing were also investigated. These results indicated that these acrylate-based copolymers have a potential use for preparing prism sheet in the LCD back light unit.
