제목 | Modeling of AP-XTM Liquefaction Process |
초록 | LNG plants face a broad range of process requirement due to a surge in LNG demand in worldwide. As a result, LNG facilities must be designed to meet many challenges. Large capacity has been the chief requirement of LNG plants by world demand. For many years, the propane pre-cooled mixed refrigerment (C3MR) process has remained the dominant liquefaction process. However, to satisfy a incereasing need of a new liquefaction process, the AP-XTM liquefaction process is introduced. The AP-XTM liquefaction process is an enhancement of C3MR system. This enhancement apply the sub-coolled system utilizing the N2 refrigerattion system for larger LNG production capacity. In this presentation, The AP-XTM liquefaction process is simulated and its model is compared with the existing information. This research was supported by a grant from the LNG Plant R&D Center funded by the Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs (MLTM) of the Korean government. |
