Considerable efforts have been recently directed toward the exploitation of new nanostructured hybrid organic-inorganic composites for their scientific interest and their industrial applications. That is because of their utility and potential as catalyst, sensorsm optical and electronic applications, and gas selective membranes. Here, we describe the preparation of cross-linked hybrid materials of polypropylene using octafunctional POSS with various feed ratios. And, we also fabricate the polymer hybrids from cross-linked polypropylene containing POSS and polypropylene. The composition, structure, and morphology of the hybrid nanocomposites were studied by SEM, TGA, DSC, EDX, FT-IR, and NMR. |
