제목 Packing structures of Dithienosilole-based Small Molecule Semiconductor and Correlation with Organic Photovoltaic and Field-effect Transistor Performances
초록 The packing structure of organic semiconductors significantly affects their electrical properties, such as conductivity, resistance, and charge mobility. In this work, we have synthesized various soluble small molecule semiconductors based on dithienosilole core. To control packing structure, the chemical structure of small molecules was tuned with various alkyl chain, different length linear chain and branched chain, and terminal functional groups. The change of packing structure of small molecule semiconductors was confirmed using grazing-incidence X-ray scattering (GIXS) measurements. Finally, organic photovoltaic and field-effect transistor devices were fabricated using dithienosilole-based small molecules as electron donor and p-type semiconductors, respectively. These results provide relationship between the packing structure of organic semiconductors and the performance of organic electronics.
