제목 Development of self-microemulsifying drug delivery systems (SMEDDS) for local theraphy of BCNU
초록 We developed self-microemulsion (SME) system achieve to the good antitumor activity of 1,3-bis(2-chloroethyl)-1-nitrosourea (BCNU) for 9L gliosarcoma cells and to increase of penetration depth of BCNU in brain tissue. The SME system composed of tributylin, Cremophor RH 40, and Labrafil 1944 to have an effect on 9L gliosarcoma cells of further distance range than intact BCNU wafer. The particles size could be altered by varing the oil composition in SME system. In this work, we try to determine particle size according to constitution of components and antitumor activity for 9L gliosarcoma cells by each size using morphological observation. We analyzed droplet size of microemulsion into dynamic light scattering (DLS ). Also, antitumor activity for 9L gliosarcoma cells is observed the morphology of cells according to distance from treated wafer in petridish and changed exposure time of SME BCNU by particle size. In our study, we will investigated appropriate SME formulation for antitumor activity and use to tissue penetration test in in vivo.
