제목 | Chloroplast transformation using single walled carbon nanotubes |
초록 | Plant genetic engineering can be applied to various fields of agriculture. The difficulty of delivering exogenous genetic materials into the desired sites in a plant has hindered their extensive plant genetic engineering applications. Here, we introduce our nanocarrier for transgene expression in the chloroplast. We designed chitosan-complexed single-walled carbon nanotubes, utilizing the lipid exchange envelope penetration (LEEP) mechanism to maximize the trafficking efficiency.
