Self-healing ability is desirable property for various applications because it offers materials increased durability and safety. Various self-healing approaches have been reported, among them, approaches based on Diels-Alder reaction have been widely studied to gain self-healing property because of its thermal reversible nature which is ideal quality for self healing material. In this study, Diels-Alder reaction between furan functionalized polymer and maleimide cross-linker was characterized.
